2007: Patton saw action in all 12 games with one start. He was the second-leading rusher with 390 yards on 83 attempts and four touchdowns. He averaged 4.7 yards a carry on 83 touches. He also caught 15 passes for 62 yards and a touchdown and returned 20 kickoffs for a 22.2-yard average.
Patton recorded his first-career touchdown reception against Auburn on a 21-yard wide receiver pass from Jordy Nelson. He rushed for 21 yards and a touchdown against Missouri State, ran for 16 yards and a touchdown against Kansas and threw a five-yard touchdown to receiver Deon Murphy against the Jayhawks, the second in his career in as many attempts.
Patton had 40 yards on 12 attempts against Colorado, 56 yards on nine carries and a touchdown at Oklahoma State, a season-high 113 yards on 17 carries against Baylor, and he rushed for 52 yards on three carries including a career-long 45-yard touchdown at Fresno State. |
