STRENGTHS
Ability to Beat the Jam: Darius Terrell is a big physical WR that uses his hands well. He is not a quick twitch guy that will lose you at the line with a bunch of moves however, he is still hard to press because of his size and his ability to use his hands to keep defenders off of him. A defender is not going to stop Terrell from getting to where he wants to go; it's just not going to happen.
Blocking Ability: Again, because of his size and natural strength, Terrell is good in his block pro. He can get better at mirroring a defender but, once he latches on, the defender is out of the play.
Size: Terrell is thickly built and can hold an extra 20 pounds of muscle. He may very well grow into a TE.
Red Zone Threat: Because Terrell is big and knows how to use his body, he is a no-brainer red zone threat. He also does well in the short to intermediate range. He thrives when running hooks, come backs, and fade stops and has strong hands.
Route Running: Terrell is a possession type of WR that runs solid routes.
Jump Balls: Though Terrell is not a huge vertical threat, he beats a lot of DB on the fade because he knows how to go up and get it. Just like in the red zone, Terrell knows how to use his body to position himself in an advantageous way.
WEAKNESSES
Quickness: Terrell is not an explosive guy off the line. If he grow into a TE it won't matter.
Top End Speed: Doesn't show a second gear to run away from people. He can stretch the field because of his size but not speed.
