Longar Longar's impressive stretch helped pace the Oklahoma Sooners to a 83-72 win over Arkansas on Saturday. The win capped a rough week for just about everyone involved. The Sooners had to endure a loss to Stephen F. Austin, finals, an ice storm and a snow storm in the last week. The non-conference win, however, should help make most of that a distant memory.

Longar Longar had a huge five-minute stretch Saturday as he helped Oklahoma defeat Arkansas 83-72 at the Lloyd Noble Center.

Longar finished with a team-high 17 points, but it was his overall play down the stretch that allowed Oklahoma to pull away from the Razorbacks.

The senior center had three big blocks, drew a charge, pulled down a crucial offensive rebound and threw down an emphatic dunk with 59 seconds left to put the exclamation mark on Oklahoma's win.
