Player: Stephen Good
Position: Starting left guard
The rundown: Good worked in a lot of game reps last year on both sides of the line, accumulating 718 snaps, which ranked third on the team. He played in all the Sooners’ contests and started more than half of those. Only one player (No. 4 NFL Draft pick Trent Williams) had more knockdowns than Good, who finished the season with 79.
Expectations for 2010: He’s really a guy that has to perform if the offensive line wants to avoid having all the problems it did in 2009. At 6-foot-6, 299 lb. and with all the talent he has, the coaches and rest of the line will really depend on him a lot. Obviously, he figures to be a mainstay in the left guard position on the O-line.
