No. 24:
Player: Bronson Irwin
Position: Backup left guard
The rundown: Irwin currently stands to serve as the backup to Stephen Good at his position when the season begins on Sept. 4 against Utah State at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. He is a 6-foot-5, 322 lb. freshman from Mustang, Okla., who was rated a four-star recruit coming out of high school. He was the No. 2 player in the state of Oklahoma and No. 3 offensive guard in the class. Stats-wise, Irwin had 83 pancake blocks his senior year of high school, good enough to grade out at 96 percent.
Expectations for 2010: Don’t anticipate a whole lot of playing time for Irwin, but he is a talented guy that has the potential to be a good player down the line.
