NORMAN, Okla. -- In the Stoops era the Sooners have been a mainstay in the BCS, but this year it is the Cowboys who enter the Bedlam game looking to advance to a major bowl with a win over OU.

It seems like things are backwards. The 9-2 Oklahoma State Cowboys sit at No. 11 in the Associated Press poll and No. 12 in the other three, the BCS, Harris Interactive and Coaches polls.
