Injury Update: Monday

NORMAN, Okla. -- Bob Stoops updates the status of Ben Habern, Ryan Reynolds, and Adrian Taylor, who all got banged up to various degrees on Saturday.

In addition to losing the game 41-13 the Sooners suffered a huge blow when they lost center Ben Habern for the season finale against Oklahoma State and for their Bowl Game.

But it looks like he should be able to make it back in time for Spring ball.

"Ben Habern has already had surgery Saturday night," OU head coach Bob Stoops informed. "It should be a three month recovery, is what they expect."

It also looks like Ryan Reynolds will be forced to miss the Bedlam game with a hamstring injury.

Said Stoops, "Ryan (Reynolds) is doubtful."

The news was not as bleak for defensive tackle Adrian Taylor, who has played a remarkable amount of snaps this season.

But Stoops did not want to get in to the particulars of the injury, so as to not put a target on it for the opposition.

"Adrian (Taylor) is probable and likely," Stoops said. "I'd rather not say (specifically what he injured) because I believe he is going to be able play."
