OU Commit Franks Suspended

After a ruling on Monday night it appears that OU WR commitment Trey Franks has been suspended for the rest of the football season.

It looks like Trey Franks, a 5-foot-9, 165-pound burner from West Orange Stark High in Texas prep football career is now over.

It was determined on Monday night at the West Orange-Cove Independent School District Board Meeting that Franks be suspended for the rest of the semester for unclassified rules violations.

Franks has apparently been suspended for inappropriate use of technology (cell phone, computer, etc).

According to the ISD's rule handbook that can be defined as:

"Transferring or sharing obscene, sexually-oriented, lewd or other illegal images or photographs."

West-Orange Stark school officials have declined to comment on the situation.

OU commit Jarrett Lake from Jenks High was also suspended for the season by OSSAA for violating the dual-residency rule.
