Jackson First '11 OU Commit

The Oklahoma Sooners got their 2011 recruiting efforts off to a quick start when Kameel Jackson announced that he was already ready to end the recruiting process with a commitment to OU.

Kameel Jackson, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound wide receiver from Arlington Sam Houston High in Texas was happy to announce that he has made a commitment to the Oklahoma Sooners.

"I just wanted to let you know that I am going to be a Sooner," Jackson told Sooners Illustrated."

Jackson also held offers from schools like Kansas, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Tulsa.

In ’08 Jackson had 54-catches for 741-yards and 7-touchdowns as a sophomore for Arlington Sam Houston High.
