Scout.com Top 300 prospect Rashod Favors, a 6-foot-1, 225-pound OLB from Dunbar High in Texas selected Oklahoma over offers from Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa State, Texas Tech, Baylor, Vanderbilt, Purdue and Stanford.

Favors has previoulsy said that he feels like he will fit in well in Brent Venables defensive schemes at OU.

"He's looking at me as a hybrid safety," he said. "As a rover and maybe linebacker too.

"I've talked with all their coaches and I've been to their practice before too," Favors said. "I liked being around them and they really made me feel at home. I was real comfortable there and felt like I could fit in."
