For the last couple of days Sooners fans have been waiting to hear Aaron Franklin's decision on where he would play his college football. Tonight the decision was made.

Aaron Franklin, 2010 LB out of Marshall High School, Tx who missed all of last season with an knee injury has been trying to decide between his childhood favorite in the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners for his services. Tonight he made the tough decision.

“I committed to OU,” Franklin said.

The 6-foot-1 205-pound linebacker with 4.48 speed has been a hot commodity for quite some time now.

Franklin just happened to be going to the movies as SI was able to get a hold of him. Stay tuned as we work to get an interview with Franklin later on tonight.

He held offers from schools like Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas A&M, Baylor, and others.
