Sooners Add Top 300 Guard

Adam Shead

CEDAR HILL, TEXAS -- Adam Shead added an offer from the Oklahoma Sooners this afternoon and he made the instantaneous decision to join the fold by issuing a non-binding verbal commitment.

SI has been able to confirm that Adam Shead, a 6-foot-3, 290-pound offensive lineman from Cedar Hill High in Texas will make a commitment to Oklahoma.

As a matter of fact, Scout.com Midland Analyst is at Cedar Hill High at this very moment watching Shead practice during "athletic hour".

"His body looks lot better than it did last year," Flenory said from the sidelines. "Athletically he is looking very good right now."

"He is showing very good feet. He senses where he is at as a prospect and where he is at as a player. He knows what he needed to do and what he needs to do to take it to the next level. It is pretty impressive out here watching him right now."

As you can imagine, with Flenory being on the scene we will have much more on this commitment as the day unfolds.
