Lincoln Christian linebacker Cody Wilson was one of the biggest sleepers in the class of 2009. While he made out okay in the OKPreps.net State Rankings he was not widely considered by pundits to be one of the best.
Now he is up to 230 pounds and making a name for himself already as an early enrollee at Tulsa. As a matter of fact it would not be a surprise to see him get a lot of early action on the field for the Hurricanes in ’09.
His development should be a key for college coaches to tune in to his younger brother Roman Wilson, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound wide receiver prospect who has a chance to follow in those same footsteps and play division one ball.
Wilson, who carries a 4.0 GPA is just coming on to the recruiting scene and is already securing interest from schools like Tulsa, Colorado State, Louisville, SMU, Kansas, Missouri, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Tennessee and Wyoming.
2008 Stats - Roman pulled down an impressive 80 receptions for 1,335 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Bio Notes - Wilson's father, Curtis Wilson, played center for the Missouri Tigers earned second team All-Big 12 honors his senior season and was then drafted by the New England Patriots and played four years in the NFL.
