Bronson Irwin, a 6-foot-5, 315-pound offensive lineman from Mustang High in Okla., has pulled the trigger on a commitment to the University of Oklahoma.
"It just felt right," Irwin said.
"Ever since I got that OU offer I have been thinking about it. It is a program surrounded with great players. They are a winning program and it is a program that is hard to beat."
Irwin admitted that the coaches were fired up to receive his commitment and he is happy that he will be getting to play for OU line coach James Patton, who he has grown very close to throughout the process.
Irwin also held offers from schools like Alabama, Kansas, Texas Tech, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, and Missouri. Plus he just added another offer from Auburn today.
He is the fifth player to pull the trigger on a commitment to the Sooners for the class of 2010 joining DT Daniel Noble, S Eddrick Loften, OT Tyrus Thompson, and WR Joseph Powell.
