The Oklahoma Sooners are set to square off against the Florida Gators in the Fed Ex BCS National Championship game on January 8th in sunny Miami, Fla.

After reeling off five straight 60 point games the Sooners have elevated themselves into a number one BCS ranking and a match up with the number two Florida Gators.

Both teams suffered early season setbacks but strong play down the stretch have set-up a monumental match-up between two of the most prolific offenses in recent memory.

The Sooners have scored more offensive points than any team in NCAA history and the Gators feature an offense led by the 2007 Heisman Memorial Trophy winner, Tim Tebow.

Both teams cemented their spot in the game by rolling to victories in their respective conference championships Saturday. UF handed previously No. 1 ranked Alabama a 31-20 defeat and OU defeated No. 20 Mizzou 62-21.
