Mason-Griffin is currently rated by Scout.com as the a
Top 100 National recruit and a five-star prospect. He is also recognized as
the third best point guard prospect in the nation by Scout.com.
He originally committed to play his ball at
LSU, but ended up choosing Oklahoma over offers from schools like Texas,
Oklahoma State, LSU, and Texas A&M.
Mason-Griffin will bring a great level of
excitement to the table for the Sooners. He is a scoring point guard that
loves to make things happen with the ball in his hands. He shows a great
ability to create points for himself and his teammates. He has proven time
and again that his quickness and ability to control the ball is tough to
Mason-Griffin on Jeff Capel:
“We have a pretty tight bond,” he said of his
relationship with Capel. “We’ve been talking ever since I went to OU camp.
He just really formed a pretty good relationship and now we are really

Fitzgerald is currently rated by Scout.com as the a
Top 100 National recruit and a four-star prospect. He is also recognized as
the 14th best center prospect in the nation by Scout.com.

Fitzgerald is a great presence inside the
paint. He has a nice wide body that he uses to his advantage to get position
down low. He is a hard-nosed type of player that will give 100 percent
maximum effort every second he is on the hardwood. He will most likely
develop in to a terrific rebounder and defensive threat.
coach Jason Smith on Fitzgerald: “He gets of stuff done. He’s got
tremendous footwork and feel. He’s more skilled than people realize. He

Hardrick has been described as a hard
working player that will do whatever it takes to help his teammates.
Alongside Andrew Fitzgerald he will provide a steady and high motored 1-2
punch in the paint. He has good hands and good feet and will provide some
scoring in the paint.
Telep on Hardrick: “Kyle is a good player. It is report card time for
Kyle. Now he is a guy you want to see start to fulfill the expectations and
go from prospect to player. He is certainly a Big 12 player and we are
trying to determine if he is a guy that come in and carry a Big 12 front
line or he is a guy that will come in and be a piece of a puzzle for a Big

Pledger, who is
rated as the 28th best shooting guard in America and a four-star prospect by
Scout.com, did not really blow up with a ton of national level scholarship
offers, but did report scholarship opportunities from George Mason, Virginia
Commonwealth, and Old Dominion.
Pledger may have never been a national name,
but do not let that fool you. He has a ton of offensive upside. He is a guy
that is "stone cold" beyond the three point arc, and he should provide a
real spark for OU on the perimeter. He has a consistently smooth stroke and
will nail down clutch shots.
Telep on Pledger: “He is a guy that is just now hitting his stride. He
has a high major body and a high major stroke. He plays really well behind
the arc and he is not going to have a problem with the expanded line. He is
starting to do a little bit more off of the bounce, but I think his role at
Oklahoma will be a guy that can stretch defenses.”
