The Sooners have now won four games in a row in the Nebraska series and they have won the last three games in Norman.

- Manuel Johsnon was back for only a few plays. He got a carry on the first drive on a reverse, came out of the game when he lost his shoe, but he was holding his injured elbow in pain. It is apparent his elbow is still hurting him pretty bad.

- Nebraska got off to a slow start in the passing game as their first three passes were all turnovers (two interceptions and a fumble).

- Oklahoma had their longest scoring drive of the year late in the first quarter when the marched 97 yards down field in 10 plays to score a touchdown.

- DeMarco Murray has now scored 29 touchdowns in his first two years breaking a record that was previously held by the great Adrian Peterson.

- After his TD return against K-State. Ryan Broyles seems to have grabbed the starting punt return job from Dominique Franks. He had a couple of mental errors in this game, but he is a threat with the ball in his hands.

- Quentin Chaney had a tremendous game. He recorded a season high 128 yards on five catches.

- OU’s 62 points were its most ever against Nebraska

- Austin Box earned his first career start. He was only credited with three tackles, but he showed flashes. He will be a little more consistent now.

- Amazingly, Sam Bradford had his longest career carry on a 13-yard draw in the first quarter.

- Bob Stoops is now 60-2 at home.

- Bradford has now scored 70 touchdowns at OU.

- The Sooners have now won four games in a row in the Nebraska series and they have won the last three games in Norman.

- OU’s 35 first quarter points was the most ever points scored on the Huskers in one quarter.

- Nebraska committed a season high four turnovers in the game, and three came with-in the first five minutes.

- Nebraska RB earned his first career 100 yard rushing game when he rushed for 157 yards and a touchdown.

- The game was sold out for the 61st consecutive home game. And the 85,212 fans made up the fifth largest crowd in OU history.
