With the transfer of Keith Nichol The Sooners will most likely be inking a quarterback in the class of 2009. They have been out on the road and there are a number of candidates on the radar. Bryce Petty has been paid two visits from the OU coaches and seems to have become a person of high interest. In this feature we take a look at Petty's junior highlights.

Bryce Petty, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound quarterback from Midlothian High in Texas will be coming up to Norman to check out Oklahoma for a session of summer camp to try to earn an offer from the Sooners.

The three-star quarterback holds an offer from Portland State and is also receiving strong interest from schools like Nebraska, LSU, Stanford, Louisville, Baylor, and Texas Tech.

As a junior, Petty passed for 2,101 yards and 16 scores to earn first team All-District honors.
