David Gordon is one of the top recruits in the state and he is starting to receive a lot of attention. The latest two schools to step up to the plate with scholarship offers are Texas Tech and Michigan. He will also be competing in the State Track Championships in Ardmore this weekend.

David Gordon, a 6-foot-1 ½, 180-pound athlete from East Central High in Tulsa, Okla., has the pure speed that only certain individuals on the field possess, and schools across the country are starting to take notice.

It looked like it was a two-horse race between Oklahoma and Arkansas, but new offers from schools like Michigan, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State may have him thinking about a more varied set of options.
