Javon Harris was not really on the radar of too many people before he secured an offer from the Oklahoma Sooners, but after he did everyone in the country knew his name. Cornerback Norris Wrenn could be in the same boat, and he was at OU on Saturday for an unofficial visit to watch the Red/White Spring Game.

Norris Wrenn, a 5-foot-11, 165-pound cornerback from Lawton MacArthur High in Lawton, Okla., may not have the name power of some of the other stars in the state, but he had a pretty successful junior season on the field.

“I had 99 tackles, six interceptions, and I returned two of those for touchdowns,” Wrenn explained. “I feel like my knowledge of the game is probably my biggest asset.”

Wrenn was on his first unofficial visit of the spring this weekend, but it was a big one.

“I was out at OU,” Wrenn informed. “It was a real nice trip. The campus is beautiful.”

“I really liked it a lot. I definitely focused in on watching the defensive backs.”

Wrenn does not have any offers at this point in the process, but he is hoping that after people get a look at his film that they will realize he is worth stepping to.

“OU is it so far,” Wrenn explained of the contact he has received. “I got to talk to coach Wright and I gave him my film. Javon (Harris) told them about me and they invited me out.”

“I am also interested in Oregon, Missouri, Oklahoma State and Clemson.”

“I think I just need help getting exposed. Hopefully after people get to see me then I will start to receive more interest.”
