The football season isn't over for four Oklahoma Sooners. Joe Jon Finley, Garrett Hartley, Allen Patrick and Marcus Walker have been selected to play in the 83rd annual East-West Shrine Game in Houston on Jan. 19.

Four Oklahoma football players who are expected to have a chance to play at the next level will have a chance to showcase their skills in the 83rd annual East-West Shrine Game.

Selected to play were Joe Jon Finley, Garrett Hartley, Allen Patrick and Marcus Walker.

The game is slated for 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at the University of Houston’s Robertson Stadium. It will be carried live on ESPN.

Finley, a tight end, started 29 times and played in 51 games during his OU career while amassing 62 catches for 775 yards and 10 touchdowns. His senior season saw him catch 23 passes for 290 yards and four scores.

As a kicker, Hartley finished his career with 310 points, sixth-best in school history. He made 47-of-58 field goals and 169-of-176 extra-points. During 2007, he was 13-of-15 on field goals and 32-of-35 his final two years.

Patrick came to Oklahoma as a safety, but was thrust into the running back position in 2006 after Adrian Peterson was injured. He answered with 900 yards to finish 2006 and had a team-high 1,009 yards in 2007 while starting 13 games. He averaged 5.2 yards per attempt during his career.

Walker has been a consistent fixture in the Oklahoma secondary with 29 career starts. He played in 39 games overall and finished with 101 career tackles.

Walker started all 14 games at cornerback in 2007, tallied 47 tackles and had two pass break-ups.

The Sooners will be a part of the West squad and will be coached by Mike White.
