It's official. Adrian Peterson has a home in the NFL. Peterson was selected by the Minnesota Vikings with the 7th pick of the first round. See inside for notes on Peterson's selection as well as links to articles discussing the Vikings' pick. (Photo/Getty Images)

Peterson became the seventh-straight Sooner to be taken in the first round of the NFL Draft. He is the 31st player to be drafted in the Stoops era and the first Sooner drafted by the Vikings since they selected Mike Gaddis in the sixth round in 1992.
