The Matchup
The Sooners will be looking for revenge after their 67-62 loss to the Longhorns in the first meeting between the two teams on Jan. 31 in Austin. However, since their upset of OU the Longhorns have lost two straight.
Texas is 2-3 on the road in Big 12 play, while the Sooners are 4-1 at home in conference action.
The Longhorns are led by All-American candidate Tiffany Jackson. The 6-foot-3 center, who is fourth in the Big 12 in points and rebounds, will pose another tough matchup for Courtney Paris. Paris scored 25 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in the first meeting, but Jackson responded with 22 points, 13 rebounds, four blocked shots and six steals.
Texas leads the all-time series 20-10. The series in Norman is tied at 6-6.
