Recruiting: Creer setting up visit to Norman

The latest on Tatum, Texas four-star running back Lennon Creer.

Lennon Creer, RB, TATUM, 6-1, 190, 4.45 TEXAS:

JH: Did you make it up to the OU/Texas game Saturday?

LC: "No sir!"

JH: What happened?

LC: "I overslept and when I got ready we just didn't have enough time to drive up to Dallas."

JH: Did you watch the game on television?

LC: "Yes, I did."

JH: What did you think of the game?

LC: "It was a good game. Turnovers got Oklahoma behind and they couldn't catch up."

JH: What did you think of the rushing attacks for both teams?

LC: "Both of them are good offensively and both executed real well. Oklahoma made more mistakes than Texas, but when they didn't make mistakes they moved the football. I feel I could fit in well in both of them."

JH: How is your season going so far?

LC: "It is going well. I have 90 carries for 795 yards and 10 touchdowns. I feel I can always improve and do bette, so I am not satisfied yet."

JH: How is your team doing?

LC: "We are 4-1 and 2-0 in district."

JH: Have you set any visits up at this time?

LC: "I plan on setting them up pretty soon. I want to take them all during the season, if not all of them."

JH: What schools do you have to visit?

LC: "Oklahoma, Florida and Texas. I have already been to Tennessee."

JH: What are your thoughts on Oklahoma at this time?

LC: "I like them a lot and I have been talking to the coaches all the time. Coach (Bob) Stoops called last week and I enjoyed talking to him. We are trying to set up a visit this weekend or more like next weekend when they play Colorado."

JH: Do you have a favorite?

LC: "Not really. I can't say that I have a clear shot favorite. I am going to take these visits and see how I fit and a favorite will emerge from these visits."

JH: What are the key things you are looking for in your visits?

LC: "I am just looking for a family atmosphere and a coaching staff that cares about their players. I want to fit into their system and I want to go to a good team."
