Things are starting to work themselves out on the recruiting trail. It's time to start looking more intently on Oklahoma's "wish list" for the Class of 2015.
Here is an idea of where OU stands in late June. The number in parentheses indicates the number of recruits OU is looking to sign at the position for the Class of 2015. The names in no way reflect OU's official board but are the best guesstimate of who OU is targeting.
With it only being the summer, all of these are with offered prospects. Later in the cycle we'll return to guessing who might deserve an offer down the road.
Favorite: Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage's Torrance Gibson. It's all-in on the five-star prospect right now. OU has some catching up to do, currently ranked No. 4 in Gibson's top seven. The bright side for OU fans is every other school in Gibson's list already has at least one quarterback commitment, while Josh Heupel is biding his time and hoping Gibson can fall into his lap. Tennessee and Auburn are certainly the two biggest threats.
Next in Line: None. In a rarity, it feels like OU is going to land Gibson or go without a quarterback for this class. All quarterback recruiting this spring has been for the 2016 crop so the plan seems to be set.
