It took a week longer than anticipated, but it's clear now Oklahoma has found the junior college transfer point guard it has been looking for.
Iowa Western Community College guard Dinjiyl Walker tweeted Thursday night he has indeed signed with the Sooners.

Walker's signature didn't seem necessary last week as OU thought it had gained juco point guard Gio McLean for next season. Following a great official visit, McLean committed but also mentioned he had no idea about his eligibility.
As time wore on, it became more apparent McLean wasn't going to be able to make it to Norman, leaving the door open for Walker to come in.
At Iowa Western, Walker averaged 16 points per game in 28 games last season. He shot 39.5 percent from 3-point territory and averaged 2.5 assists per contest.
OU might not be done with its Class of 2014 just yet as the Sooners could still add a late transfer. But what is clear is the Sooners now have their answer for the departure of Je'lon Hornbeak, who elected to transfer last month.
Walker is 6-foot-2 and is originally from Canada.
