Sooners Illustrated continues its countdown of the top 25 prospects in Oklahoma for the 2015 class.

The book has been closed on the Class of 2014 and now it’s time to look ahead toward the Class of 2015 in the state of Oklahoma.

Currently with four recruits in the Scout 300, the state has a lot of on the cusp recruits that will be able to make an impact in the months to come.

SoonersIllustrated.com is counting down the top 25 this week.

No. 20 Tulsa Union defensive back Robert Thomas (6-0, 170)

Thomas showed flashes of being among the best defensive backs in the state last season. Going up against the best competition in the state has also done him wonders. Solid size for a cornerback, Thomas had four interceptions last season.

------

No. 19 Oklahoma City Casady wide receiver Denver Johnson (6-3, 200)

Still odd to say Casady has a huge recruiting class, but the 2015 crop might be the best the school has had in a long time. Johnson, a legit 6-3, is starting to receive interest from all over the country and Oklahoma State has shown the most so far. He had 39 catches for 506 yards and five touchdowns in 2013.

------

No. 18 Edmond Santa Fe defensive back Ashton Preston (5-11, 170)

The best thing you can say about Preston is that each time you see him, he looks a little better than he did before. A lot of that can be attributed to his work with Quick Twitch. As he continues to learn the position, his stock should soar. Had 18 tackles and an interception last season.

------

No. 17 Lawton wide receiver Kalin Sadler (5-11, 185)

Sadler can do a little bit of everything on the offensive side of the ball. Spring and summer camps should be a great chance for Sadler to really shine. He rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns, while catching 27 passes for 455 yards and four scores as a junior.

------

No. 16 Edmond Santa Fe offensive guard J.R. Hensley (6-4, 285)

Hensley became a name to watch heading into his junior season and nothing that happened last year should deter schools from looking his way. A frequent visitor to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, the offers should start pouring in for Hensley sooner than later.
