Signing Time: 9:59 a.m.

Signee: Kerrick Huggins (DT—6'4"/280)—This one turned heads when it happened. Huggins, a longtime Texas A&M pledge, was reportedly cut loose and didn't take long to find his home with the Sooners. OU's highest ranked interior defensive lineman switched in mid-December after 10 months as an Aggie verbal. Out of Skyline HS, he signs as the 27th-ranked defensive tackle in the 2013 class.
What he's coming into at the position:First off, the question will be his qualification. There are reports he won't be able to make it to campus this upcoming fall, so that remains to be seen. If he does, Huggins could make an impact, especially from a depth standpoint. OU has three other defensive tackle signees, including Quincy Russell, Charles Walker and Matthew Romar. Russell, a JUCO product, is expected to start if he also makes it to campus for the fall, along with Jordan Phillips. After that, there's Marquis Anderson, Jordan Wade, Torrea Peterson and Damon Williams.
