When WVU lost in embarrassing fashion at Purdue on Saturday, Bob Huggins didn't peel the paint off the walls in the locker room. Instead of being angry, Huggins was "ashamed" and "embarrassed" according to forward Kevin Noreen.

Guard Gary Browne, who emphasized "the season ain't over," said his injured ankle was difficult to deal with during the Purdue loss. But he has practiced and vowed to do "anything I can do to [help] win games."

The slow-it-down style employed by the Mountaineers, opponent on Wednesday night, TCU, will force West Virginia players to defend for the entirety of the shot clock. Coach Bob Huggins seemed encouraged by his team's prospects to do so, indicating his players had one of their best practices of the year on Monday.
