Ranking the Most Important on Offense: No. 25

OU backup fullback David Driskill

Throughout the month, Sooners Illustrated will break down the most important players on the current offensive depth chart, starting at No. 25 all the way down to No. 1, so here's No. 25.

Keep in mind there are a couple key players off the depth chart right now, as that will come into play later in the countdown.

No. 25:

Player: David Driskill

Position: Backup fullback

The rundown: Driskill is currently listed as the reserve fullback behind starter Marshall Musil. The 6-foot-1, 235-pounder from Casady High School in Oklahoma City redshirted in 2010. Therefore, he has yet to officially see the field as a Sooner, but he certainly brings more competition to the position.

Expectations for 2011: Don't anticipate Driskill to see too much playing time, as he is realistically the third in line even though he's listed as the second man on the present two-deep roster. When Trey Millard returns, he'll be the starter, and Marshall Musil will move down to the reserve spot, bumping Driskill off the depth chart.
