It's Official, Sooners Notch No. 10

NORMAN, Okla. -- The Sooners have been picking up commitments quite rapidly as of late. Tonight that trend continues as John Michael McGee committed to the Sooners.

It’s been a long time coming for McGee who has always made it loud and clear that the Sooners were his favorite. Tonight the 6-foot-3 and 260-pound four-star prospect decided to end his recruiting process and called offensive coordinator Josh Heupel to let him know.

Shortly after McGee informed Sooners Illustrated of the news.

“I committed,” McGee said. “Boomer Sooner.”
